WHERNSIDE 736M, INGLEBOROUGH 724M, AND PEN-Y-GHENT 694M
On the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge – Guided Walk we attempt to climb the three highest peaks in the Yorkshire Dales in under 12 hours. The walk is approximately 23 miles in length with an elevation gain of over 1000m. We will meet at Horton in Ribblesdale, and begin the challenge at 8:00 am.
Lots of people walk the Yorkshire 3 Peaks to raise money for charity. Most charities have sponsorship packs that will help you plan your fundraising.
You can join the “Three Peaks of Yorkshire Club”, if you complete the challenge in under 12 hours. To join you must book both in and out at the Pen-y-Ghent Café in Horton in Ribblesdale using the clocking machine. If you are successful in becoming a member of the club you are then eligible to wear a Three Peaks badge and tie (available to buy in the Cafe).
Join one of our open group walks or hire a private guide to work with you and your group exclusively for the day.
The prices includes an insured, experienced and qualified Mountain Leader who holds a Wilderness First Aid Certification.
